march envelopes

Hi ladies!

March is fast approaching!

Today marks my count down of the last 40 days of my thirties!~
Time flies when your having fun!

They keep getting better! So, this block, is my gift to myself...

It is so not a block I would normally make for myself, although I adore it, so I am asking you all to help me achieve this goal/gift to myself.

packets are going out today.

Yes, it looks complicated, BUT,
I have included all the pieces pre-cut for you. I just need assembly.

I drew out the steps and it is included in your envelopes.

basically, each block will have RED for the 9 patch with a filler color...

the next row, in you packet, will contain either green /yellow squares and bars...

A bunch of pieces for the flying geese, Pink/peach/salmon colors plus all the varied colors
I've included extras in case of error...
so if you find you have more than you need, that's why...

then everyone will have Green to anchor those corners...with the flying geese...

Shall I do a photo step by step on assembly?
I can do that..
Please let me know...

Thanks ladies!!

  1. Those look like FUN blocks!!! I don't need the step by step, but am a bit obsessed with squaring up.

I would love the dimensions of the framed-up nine patch before the geese are added, and the final block.

Can't wait to see those fun fabrics.

  2. Oh, boy! Your presentation and preparation are great! However, I haven't made flying geese before. I can see how they must be put together, but if you do have tips on getting them "right" and lining up well, I would be happy to hear or see them. I did purchase the magazine you chose your block from, so I do have that as a reference guide as well. Looking forward to receiving the package!

  3. If you have that mag issue, it does describe the way to put the geese together, I also wrote it out in your directions that are in your packets... 1/4 seam allowances on the pre-cut fabric will give you the right dimensions...
I'll out together a few shots to show how to do the geese.... thanks guys!
